Fonster Hüs Brand Development

Fönster Hus, meaning ‘Window House’ in Swedish, supplies triple-glazed windows and doors from high-quality Scandinavian manufacturers. It was our task to formulate a branding strategy and logo design to support their marketing activities, touching upon their main brand values: professional expertise, Swedish roots and triple glazing efficiency. With all branding, it needed to be flexible and adaptable to be applied across different media, and as a new brand, it was of great importance to build awareness with an approach that would gain instant recognition. We worked closely with the client to determine a simple, bold direction, that would reflect the colours of the Swedish flag, reinforce the brand’s name with the combination of the ‘F’ and ‘H’ letters and suggest the three layers of glazing with the top left corner repeated. The strong lines of the lettering and the reassuring colour palette conveyed the brand’s key values, whilst giving us ultimate flexibility to resize and create versions for different media choices.
