The Briefing

Positive Gambling Solutions (PGS) is a non-profit organisation on a mission to reduce the harms caused by gambling, creating digital, accessible solutions to reach people at scale.

We were tasked with refreshing the PGS logo. The client wanted a design that felt bright, confident and welcoming, truly capturing the positive community spirit of the organisation.

The Challenges

The main challenge was to ensure that the logo reflected the essence of the brand, communicating Positive Gambling Solutions’ core values and identity, while remaining simple, yet memorable.

The team also had to be mindful not to create a logo that appeared aligned with the gambling industry. Colour, font and iconography had to be carefully scrutinised.

  • A thoughtful and effective design that combines simplicity with strong visual elements to communicate its message.
  • The use of a bold blue colour for the letters “PGS” to convey trust, calmness and stability, while the yellow cross integrated into the “P” adds a striking contrast, symbolising positivity and health.
  • A visual balance between blue and yellow that suggests a focus on positive outcomes and solutions, aligning well with the company’s mission.
  • Clean, modern typography of “Positive Gambling Solutions” beneath the main graphic to enhance readability and professionalism.
  • A versatile logo appropriate for various applications, from digital platforms to print materials.
  • A strong representation of the PGS brand’s commitment to offering constructive and beneficial solutions to reduce and prevent the harms caused by gambling.
